Integration Logic

    This integration uses a custom PHP function within WordPress that triggers on the 'user_register' action hook. When a new user signs up, the function captures their details (email, name, etc.). It then checks for an active AffiliateWP referral cookie to get the referring affiliate's ID. This combined data is formatted into a JSON payload and sent via a POST request to a specific Mautic webhook URL. Mautic receives the data, creating or updating a contact and adding a tag or custom field with the affiliate's ID. This allows for segmenting contacts and triggering campaigns based on which affiliate referred them.
