Integration Logic

  • BuddyFlow Connector

    This integration automates a new hire buddy program. It triggers when a new hire is added as a page to a designated Notion database. The BuddyFlow Connector then calls the Donut API to find and assign an available buddy from a predefined group. With the new hire and buddy identified, it creates a new private Slack channel, inviting both members. A customizable welcome message, including a link to the new hire's specific Notion onboarding page, is posted in the channel. Finally, the workflow updates the original Notion page for the new hire with the assigned buddy's name and a link to the new Slack channel, providing a complete, closed-loop system.
