It then searches HubSpot for an existing contact based on email address. If a contact exists, it updates the record; if not, it creates a new contact. Subsequently, it creates a new deal associated with that contact. Critical partner information, such as the referring partner's name and unique key, is mapped to custom properties on the HubSpot contact and deal records for clear attribution and reporting.
