    This integration initiates when a new employee is created in BambooHR. The workflow fetches the new hire's details, such as their name, department, and start date. It then implements a 'buddy matching' logic, for example, by finding an available employee from the same department who is marked as a potential buddy in BambooHR. Upon successful matching, the integration uses the Slack API to create a new, private Slack channel, inviting the new hire, their assigned buddy, and their manager. Finally, it activates a pre-configured Donut template within that new channel to post a welcome message and schedule conversation starters, ensuring a smooth and engaging start for the new team member. As a final step, it can update a custom field in the new hire's BambooHR profile with the name of their assigned buddy for tracking.
