This integration enables a seamless returns workflow. A customer initiates a return request through a custom Glide application. The Glide app makes a POST request to the ReturnsBridge API, sending order details. The API first validates the order information against the Shopify Admin API. Upon successful validation, it creates a new, detailed record in a dedicated Airtable base for the returns management team. Simultaneously, it can tag the original order in Shopify to indicate a return is in progress. The Glide app reads data directly from the Airtable base to provide customers with real-time status updates on their return requests.
